MHS Library has slowly been adding ebooks (electronic books) to our FollettShelf. Linked in the library catalog, students can read over 150 ebooks immediately through their computer, tablet or SmartPhone. Most of our titles are Unlimited Use, so every student and staff member in the school can read these titles at the same time.
FollettShelf is integrated with our Destiny Library Catalog....it's easy if you log into your Library account (using your network username and password). Search for the title or keyword of your choice and then look for results with a bright green E beside them (electronic book).
Unlimited use titles (many non-fiction) do not require any checkout at all! Fiction titles may be checked out for two weeks. The best part is that you don't have to return your book....FollettShelf does it for you. Never an overdue fine, never a lost book!
Stop in the library for directions to add apps to your tablet or smartphone. You can even connect with web-enabled Kindles and Nooks! No software required to read from your computer...just access through through your browser.
