Discussing Autobiography of a Recovering Skinhead (10-1-2013)
Literature over Lunch (LOL) is a monthly bookclub for students at MHS. Joa LaVille from the Marshalltown Public Library visits MHS each month and brings pizza (sponsored by the Friends of the Library) for students to enjoy while discussing books! All students are invited to attend and receive free pizza if they have read the book that month. We always meet in MHS Library during A, B, and C lunches (if attendance warrants).
We're REALLY excited that Frank Meeink (subject of the book) will visit MHS for LOL on October 8, 2013 during A Lunch. Students are invited to sign-up to attend even if they haven't read the book to meet Mr. Meeink. Of course, pizza will be provided for those that sign-up! Just ask Mrs. Inhelder or Mrs. Fritzell for more information.
